Previously, he was a partner and equities portfolio manager at SDA Gestão de Recursos (2007-2015), working in the Company Analysis, Management, and Controls departments within the same institution (2005–2007). He graduated in Economics from PUC-Rio (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro).

Evandro was also a fixed income and currency trader at Nobel Asset Management (2000-2005). He graduated in Mechanical Production Engineering, with a postgraduate degree in Financial Engineering from PUC-Rio (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro), and holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and Finance from FGV-Rio (Getúlio Vargas Foundation of Rio de Janeiro).

For six years, he worked at Banco Pactual S/A, exercising roles as co-head of the Institutional Sales Department for the Rio de Janeiro and London offices, and as a trader for the bank’s portfolio. He earned an MBA in Finance from IBMEC-RJ (Brazilian Capital Market Institute of Rio de Janeiro) and attended the OPM Program (42-class of 2012) at Harvard Business School. He graduated in Economics from Candido Mendes University.

Founding partner, director, and one of the portfolio managers responsible for the Multi-strategy fund’s operations in emerging markets. Previously, he was a partner at Banco Pactual S/A, where he managed the proprietary portfolio of fixed income and derivatives for the North American, Latin American, and Russian markets, besides coordinating the macroeconomic fixed income research for Latin America. He graduated in Economics from Candido Mendes University.

André earned an MBA from Harvard Business School with honors in 1973, where he was a Baker Scholar, after graduating in Mechanical Engineering from PUC-Rio (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro) in 1971. In 1983, he founded Banco Pactual, where he worked for 15 years, being the main responsible for the bank’s success in managing investment funds, equity portfolios, and the institution’s proprietary portfolio. Before that, he was an Executive Director at Unibanco for nine years. Currently, he is a member of the Board of the Dean’s Advisors at Harvard Business School, the Advisory Council for Latin America (Chairman 2003-2009) at Harvard Business School, and a member of the Global Advisory Council of Harvard University.
