Rodrigo Magela

Partner and one of the equity managers for JGP’s multi-strategy funds. Previously, he founded Itaverá Investimentos in 2014, where he was the fund manager until the company was acquired by Blueline Asset Management in 2023, remaining with the company until 2024. Prior to that, he was a founding partner at Oceana Investimentos, working as an analyst and portfolio manager for the Oceana Valor fund (2008-2013), and worked at Arx Capital as an equity analyst and portfolio manager (2004-2008). He began his career at Banco Pactual as an equity analyst (1997-2004). He holds a degree in Economics from Wichita State University and has an extension in Business Analysis from Harvard Business School.
